The Altoona, located along the 99-level stretch of the U.S. region, ranges from the Washington-Baltimore region, the Pittsburgh region, the I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) in the Philadelphia region, and the I-80 in the New York City region to the I-70. Altona can also communicate directly from Pittsburgh via I-376/US 22.

Altona's airport is Altona Blair County Airport (AOO). United Airlines operates direct flights to both Washington Dulles and Johnstown (PA). It's a very small airport and convenient 12 miles from downtown.

• 2 Horseshoe Curve National Historic Site (Kittanning Point Road Artona West) Historically famous as a mecca for railway enthusiasts built by the Pennsylvania Railroad to climb the Allegheny Mountains. It is located along the current Norfolk Minami-Tozai Main Line, and more than 50 trains a day go around the Triple Line. Visitors can go to a small museum or to a place with grass inside the curve. You can see the movement of the railway over 180 degrees. $8       You can also see the curve from the train on the Pennsylvania of the Amtrak between Altoona and Pittsburgh.
• In the central town of Altoona Railway Hall, there is a museum that introduces the history of Altoona as a railroad city.  There is a layout of model trains and some interactive exhibits. We have a holiday during the winter.
• 3 Allegheny Portage Railway Nation's historic site (near Galitzen), 110 Federal Park Road, Galitzin (Per) (about 12 miles west of Altona, 10 miles east of Evensburg, and away from 22 United States. Go through the Galitzine exit and follow the signs), ☏+1 814 886-6150. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day. Allegheny Portege Railway made a great achievement in his early travels. Charles Dickens, Jenny Lynn, and Ulysses S. Grant traveled over the Allegheny Mountains. Once a week, they broke the system that hurt passengers. A sloping system and a 900-foot tunnel were carved into the hard rock of the Welsh miner to enable this feat. For 20 years it was the fastest way to cross the wildly wild terrain of Pennsylvania. Once again, slopes and winches are seen on the site, which are used to pull a loaded cart onto the hill. four dollars.

• Nickerbocker Tavern, 3957 W 6. A great place with authentic pub food and a Kraft Blow selected from all over the country (and the world). It's a strange "suburban" place, but especially if you like beer, it's the best bar in town. a reasonable price
